Hi, I’m Honey Bee. Even though I am 5.5 years old, I am just starting to discover there is more in life than just having puppies! I am so glad that APARN took me out of the shelter, and told me “no more babies for you!” I love to be held and snuggled, and I just want to be with you at all times. I am still a bit nervous and scared of new things and new dogs. I really don’t want to play with other dogs, I just want to sit and hang out with my people. I am okay being around other dogs, I just don’t want them insisting I play with them. So if you have a young playful pug that is looking for a friend, please look at some of the other pugs available; I am not a good match. I have to be separated from others during feeding times, as I will eat their food. I just didn’t get fed enough before, and I am still afraid I won’t get any more, so I try to stock up. Foster Mom says I snore and make other random pug noises. I will not go outside alone; safety in numbers! You must accompany me outside, and remind me that I am there to “go potty.” I get hot very quickly outside, so short potty trips are best. And yes, I still have “accidents” in the house. I need to know that you are not going to get mad or yell at me, or punish me in any way because of this. I will love you unconditionally, and I need to have the same from you.
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
My adoption fee is $300
