Hello, we are Jack & Jill. We are 15 years old, and have been together our whole lives. APARN says we are a “bonded pair.” This means we love each other and ask that we get adopted together. We are also good with other dogs.
Being super seniors, we do sleep a lot, and don’t have exercise requirements like the younger dogs do. We love to snooze on a dog bed near you while you read or watch tv.
APARN believes we must have lived outside in our previous life, and not gotten much socialization, as we do not like to be held, and are not lap dogs. We hear this is pretty odd for pugs. And yes, we know we are not “purebred” pugs, but please don’t hold that against us! Jack is mostly deaf and he snores like a true puggy. Jill hops like a bunny when she is excited (it’s due to hip dysplasia, but it is really cute).
Won’t you please consider opening your heart and home to a pair of sweet older seniors who just need a place where they can live out the rest of their lives surrounded by people who love them?
Thank you for your consideration.
Jack & Jill
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
