Hi, my name is Jewel, and I suspect that is due to my sparkling personality! I am a very happy pug, and get along with everyone, including cats. I like toys, leash walks, and rides in the car. I don’t like sudden moves or noises, so I am not a good choice for families with younger children. Nothing against children, they deserve the right to express themselves; I just get fearful at times, and prefer a calmer environment.
Foster mom says I would do best in a home with regular routines, because I have poop accidents if I am not kept on a strict potty schedule. I don’t like to ask to go out, I’d rather you keep track of the time for me; so i need to be taken outside (leash walk or backyard), and given plenty of time to potty before she I back in. No rushing around please, I like to find just the right spot.
I am scheduled for a dental cleaning early April 2017. Other than that, I am a happy healthy pug girl!
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
My adoption fee is $125
