Hi! I’m Kyan – it’s spelled like this, but pronounced like Cayenne Pepper. Much easier to spell with only 4 letters, right? And by saving you time with a shorter name, you have more time to be with ME! Even though I am 12 years old, Foster Mom says I have the energy of a dog half my age. I tell her “12 is the new 8!” Foster Mom says I am quite the Velcro pug! She says I always want to be with you, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. I love everyone, big/small, short/tall, I don’t discriminate against anyone who wants to rub my tummy! Wanna hear me purr like a kitty? Just rub my tummy! Tummy rubs are one of my favorite things! Another is those stuffed animals that don’t have stuffing. Foster mom thinks I am silly because every day I will go in the back yard and get her a pretty pebble and bring it to her. She takes them from me and says what a good girl I am because I never try to eat the pebbles. Not sure I even could, as I don’t have any teeth! But don’t worry, that doesn’t keep me from eating! My tongue hangs out a little, but I think it just adds to my charm. (And think of all the money you save, as I don’t need any more expensive dentals!) There is one thing I do not like, and that is another female dog in my house! I like the boys, and want to sit with them. But no other females, please.
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
My adoption fee is $300
