Hello pug loving folks! My name is Maui, I am about 8 years old although my foster parents say I act more like a 4-year-old because I have lots of energy and love to play with toys. That is right, I just love toys. I have created a toy fort at my foster house and I keep all the toys there that I find and decide are now mine.
Along with my love of toys comes my handsome looks. I am one of those handsome pugs with some unique features that make me even more special. I am your average size lean pug, no fat on me. I do have one eye that is a little smaller and that has some vision impairment but I see just fine for the most part and my foster mom says my eye gives me extra character. I also have a really long tongue and love giving kisses with it. I am just a handsome playful go-lucky kind of guy.
There is one thing I must warn you about. I do NOT like cats. Not at all. My new forever family cannot have any cats at all, NONE. I can’t help it but I do not like them!
And while I may not like cats at all, I sure do love hanging out with other pugs and most importantly humans. I love spending time with my foster parents. I like to snuggle with them at tv time with the other pugs in the house. I also do not mind spending time in my crate, I am just an all-around well, behaved pug.
If you are looking for an older pug with lots of energy and life in them, who loves to play with toys, has some special character, and is quite handsome then look no further, I am the pug for you! Now go fill out that adoption application and tell them Maui sent you, that you want the pug with special character that loves toys!
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
My adoption fee is $125
