My name is Mindy! When I was rescued from the shelter I was in pretty bad shape. I had really bad allergies that made my skin very itchy and my eyes very dry. Now that I am eating yummy high quality food and getting my weekly baths, I am feeling so much better. Did I mention that I am so excited I have my very own bed now? I feel like I am finally experiencing happiness. I love to cuddle and fall asleep curled up on foster moms lap; it makes me feel so safe. Now that the weather is cooler in the mornings, foster mom loves to take me on long walks to the duck ponds. I have two pug sisters here (there are no cats or children here) and we all get along great. I’m not food aggressive at all, have finally learned my crate is a safe place. Oh – I also love treats!
I can be a little clumsy when I get really excited, but I am just so happy that I can’t help it. I probably wouldn’t do well in a home with tiny kids because I might bounce into them and accidentally knock them over.
Foster mom tells me it will be a little while before I’m ready to go to adoption events since I am still working on getting my allergies under control. I want to look in tip top shape before I make my grand entrance. So for now, I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone and let you know that I will be looking for my forever home very soon.
See you soon,
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
My adoption fee is $275
