“I am the great and powerful OZ!” Okay, not really. I am just a 4-year-old pug who is looking for someone to love, who will love me back. Not just for a couple of years, or until I have some kind of health issue. Nope. I am looking for that special kind of someone who understands commitment, who will love me and take care of me properly, no matter what! I mean, sure, I am healthy today, but who knows what life will bring in a few years when I start to get some grey hairs.
Foster Mom says I am sweet and loving. But like anyone, I do have my faults. For example, I can be a little food aggressive. (I got into a fight over a chew hoof, of all things!) And I have a bit of a low tolerance for others jumping at me, like the 1.5-year-old foster pug here. He wants to play all the time, and that is just not something I want to do. He doesn’t understand when I tell him nicely to please back off. Otherwise, I do get along just fine with all of the other pugs here in my foster home; they are mostly girls. Maybe my Forever Home should just have an older, quiet girl pug. Of course someone who works from home or doesn’t work would be awesome, so they could just hang out with me! I would prefer a home without small children, as I am afraid they would push me past my tolerance level.
Foster mom says I am active and curious, very smart, and that I just want to please. But most of all, I just want someone to love who will love me in return.
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
My adoption fee is $400
