Hi everyone! Sparky here to speak on behalf of myself and my brother, Ryker. We are an awesome pair of pugs, if I do say so myself! I am 6 years old, and Ryker is 4.5 years old. We were both adopted from APARN and have been together for almost 4 years. But what matters is that we are best friends, and must stay together. We get along great with other pugs and small dogs.
Let me tell you about Ryker first. He is always on the go, he loves to play and chew on rawhides, and follows Foster Mom around, especially if she is in the kitchen! He is curious, a great listener, uses the doggy door, but is also crate trained. Ryker is on prescription Royal Canin Hepatic food, due to having surgery to correct a liver shunt when he was 8 months old. He needs to stay on this food, and no snacking allowed.
Let’s see, what can I tell you about me? I am petite, I love to cuddle (especially in bed!), Foster Mom says I am spunky, playful, and full of energy, especially when you wake up or come home, I enjoy my quiet space in the kennel, and am also crate trained. I use the doggy door, and am in good health.
Foster Mom says we are the perfect combo of spunk, sass and sweet, and that together we make the perfect pair! If you are looking to add a couple of great pugs to your family, why not fill out the adoption application, and ask to meet us! We are pretty sure you won’t be disappointed!
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
Our adoption fee is $475 for the pair
