Hi, Pug Lovers, we are the Two Amigos, Zorro and Gizmo!
First up, me – Zorro. I’m 8 years old, still frisky and full of fun. I’m also full of love. I’ve come from Mexico with my best friend, Gizmo. We need to live together as we are bonded. You will find me a little nervous at first but it won’t be long before I warm up and trust you. Foster Mom says I’m a real lover now. Give me a little patience and I will become a cuddle-pug.
Don’t let my sad face cause you to give me extra treats. Please help me stay at my healthy weight. Don’t forget to give me my heartworm preventative each month. They are really nasty creatures, those heartworms! I don’t want them in my body.
I’m pretty proud of myself. I’m learning the doggie door. I need a little help but I’m sure I’ll get that trick down pat in just a few of days. I get along with the other pugs in the house. We’re all boys but no one is bossy. We’re all polite as well-behaved pugs should be. There have been some puggy-run games already.
And now me – Gizmo! I’m 3 years old, healthy and have shiny white teeth. Like Zorro, I’m in good health and ready to go to my forever home. Zorro is my very best friend and we absolutely MUST to stay together! We have been through so much change, all we have is each other. You might find me a little silly, but I’m also full of love. I’m a pretty big boy, and should lose about 2-5 pounds. Right now, I weigh 33 pounds. Help me with my diet so I will stay healthy and young for as long as possible.
I learned how to use the doggie door in just one day! I have house breaking stuff down pretty pat. But I might get excited and have a little mistake. Foster Mom is sending a belly band just in case. (I am very good at wiggling out of it so…keep an eye on me.) I get along with the other pugs in the house. We’re all boys and like to have fun! I sleep in the same crate as my bonded brother, Zorro. We’re used to sleeping together so please let us stay close.
Please fill out an adoption application, get a home visit and ask for Zorro and Gizmo – the Two Amigos! Twice the pugs, twice the love.
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
Our adoption fee is $500 for the pair
