Care to double your fun? We’re Babar and Snubble, two adorable, sweet girls looking for our forever home! Think of us as Shadow 1 and Shadow 2, we just love following our humans around and making them smile. Actually, what we really love are kiss attacks! At any opportunity, we’ll climb upon you and give you kisses galore!
We’re easy to manage and get along with each other very well. In fact, we even sleep in the same doggy bed together at night and will serve as your 6:30 am wake-up call! We’d just suggest you have separate feeding bowls for us so we each get our full portions. We love to eat!
As healthy adults we have no major medical needs, we have great vision and hearing and are fast on our feet. But we are due next month for our dental visits – mouth health is so important for pugs. Speaking of our mouths, please know that we enjoy nibbling on rocks, but will spit them back out when our human catches us. We are mainly indoor dogs, but enjoy hanging out in the backyard for a bit – always with supervision! We don’t want a hawk or coyote sneaking up and stealing us! We do like to go for walks every other day or so. We are great on walks and don’t pull hard on the leashes.
We are social butterflies, Babar being a bit more extroverted than Snubble. We have met another dog and his owner while in foster care and were as friendly as can be. Our ideal home would be with someone who looooooves kisses and always wants two good-natured pugs following them around the house. Snubble would even go into the shower with you if you let her! Silly girl. Can we go home with you?
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
Our adoption fee is $500 for the pair.
