Hooray for Tongue-out Tuesdays (and Wednesdays and Thursdays)! I’m Jarvis, a really handsome Puginese (maybe) that has long soft hair and a tongue that makes other pugs jealous. And my personality compliments my looks! I’m a friendly, cuddly boy. If I’m excited, I’ll spin in circles. If I’m tired, I’ll fall asleep when you rub my belly. Have you heard of anything cuter? My foster mom calls me a well-behaved goofball.
A little more about me: I currently live with other dogs and love having the company. Right now I’m wearing a belly band because I’m marking inside. It’s possible I’ll stop that behavior if I’m an only-dog. I’m a big boy, and as a result can’t get up on furniture easily. I’d benefit from a home that was committed to helping me lose a little weight (and keep knots out of my beautiful hair!) My jaw’s a bit messed up, and I’m missing teeth on one side, so my tongue hangs out. It really just adds to my charm, don’t you think?
I enjoy eating, walking, lounging, napping, playing in the backyard, car rides, and hanging with my humans. My ideal home would not have any cats, but would have kids to play with! I’m not a mouthy guy, nor do I jump on people, and I don’t bark unless someone is at the door. So, who wants my peppy and spunky self in their life? I’m ready to join you for some fun!
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
My adoption fee is $300
