Hi, my name is Pug-E-Boy, but you can call me Pug-E! I am an active 11.5-year-old neutered male who would love to find my Forever Home with my own person. Like most pugs, I have a few lumps and bumps, but the vet tested those and the biopsy said they are just fatty blobs.
Some of my favorite things are to sit on your lap, play with squeaky toys (the louder the better!), and eat my meals! I am currently on Nutrasource weight management kibble with a tiny bit of grain-free canned food mixed in. I am a very good eater and do not have to be coaxed with tasty treats to eat. Speaking of tasty treats, I should not really get too many of those, because, you know…the fatty blobs. I weigh 25 pounds (a bit bigger than your standard size pugs) but I shouldn’t gain any additional weight.
My foster home has some other pugs, but I think if possible, I would love to be the only dog. There’s a well-behaved kitty here in my foster home, and I don’t mind her. So a nice kitty would be fine. My Foster parents are taking good care of me, and they speak very kindly of my previous owner, who took really good care of me, including annual dental cleanings and vaccinations. I can say with certainty that I was (and still am) much loved. If you think you would like to take on the job of being my new best friend, please submit an adoption application, and the folks at APARN will see if we are a match
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
My adoption fee is $200.
