Hi, my name is Lulu, and I am 8 years old. I am a very sweet, gentle, and easy-going pug girl. Well, until meal time rolls around! I get excited for my food! I love to eat, and it shows. I have lost a little weight so far at my foster home, but have a couple pounds left to go. And I need someone who won’t indulge me and let me get fat. Strict weight management required! I do have a bit of a trachea issue, which results in a bad cough, and sometimes it can get loud! Extra weight makes it worse. As long as you keep me on the meds the vet prescribes for me, I do well. I will need a family who understands this is a lifelong issue, and I absolutely must remain on the medicine the vets prescribe for me in order to help manage it. Even at that, I sill have some bouts of coughing now and then. I am fine with other pugs, and also good with older kids. I’m a pretty adaptable pug, just looking for somewhere to call home, and a person to call mine!
Now accepting applications for Lulu.
***We appreciate your interest in adopting a pug in need. Please respect our process and our time, as we are all volunteers with full time jobs. An application starts the process. We are not able to answer calls with questions about the foster pugs. ***
***We encourage you to come to our adoption events to meet the pugs in person if you are interested in adoption. Again, please do not call regarding the adoptable pugs. APARN is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We do not have a shelter. Our dogs are currently being fostered in private homes generally located throughout the greater Phoenix metro area.***
My adoption fee is $475
